Christmas Butterflies & Le Soleil Foundation – A Tribute to Artist and Activist Leah Wood
A spectacular artistic Christmas dinner was hosted at the fine dining restaurant Nyn Esti, inside the Museum of Contemporary Art, featuring a masterfully curated menu by head chef Stamatis Misomikes. Inspired by Leah Wood’s artwork, the Rhodian chef designed an extraordinary menu with delicate details reflecting butterflies.
A Prestigious Gathering with Global Icons
Event organizer Ada Iliopoulou has built a reputation for attracting high-profile personalities to Greece. Last summer, she welcomed Tosca Musk (sister of billionaire Elon Musk), Queen Diambi Kabatusuila of Congo, and other distinguished guests. Among them was British artist and activist Leah Wood, who was inspired by Rhodes’ Valley of Butterflies to create a new butterfly-themed collection, set to be unveiled in 2025.
In anticipation of this exhibition, seven vibrant butterflies were brought to Greece for a special preview.
